My Girlfriend has a Barclaycard and until recently she was paying massive amounts towards PPI etc, When she spoke with Barclays regarding her card they stated that she had PPI on it that she doesn't recall over agreeing too! This is a card from 2004 and we heard that there was a law change regarding cards that old! She was advised to ask Barclays for a copy of her policy because she doesn't have it anymore, In responce they said it would take 6 to 12 weeks and she would have to pay a fee of £10!

Does this seem fishy and does anyone else have expericane of this nature regarding PPI, Barclays circa 2004?
