Not had anything official from the abbey as yet, but have spoken to them, and the account is now opened as of yesterday......

Still won't believe it until i see something official, bank holiday scr***d up the post.... arrggghhhh

I've another question, during the application process i applied for an Electron card only and no overdraft and no cheque book, thinking this might help me secure a current account.

How long did you have to wait before you got the card upgraded to Visa?

I've requested a cheque book, which they say is on its way..... is it too early to ask for visa debit?
