    Re: annual multi-trip travel insurance

    see "travel Insurance Scams"

I would add that " Barclaycard Classic Annual Travel Insurance" customer service dept, told me, when I asked before starting out,
that it would be possible to extend my cover (beyond the std 35 days) with a simple phone call if I decided tyo stay longer.

THIS WAS SIMPLY NOT TRUE, & whats more they deny they ever said this!
After my accident & hospitalisation, the actually cancelled my policy while I was still out there, & I had to arrange another to cover me to get home again ---- cost $100+ & of course didn't cover any of my existing injuries.

This was “Barclaycard Direct ClassicTravel Insurance”,

An Annual, Multi-trip Policy ----not a “freebee” nor a “cheapee” ---- advertised by Barclaycard, Sold by Barclaycard, Paid for with Barclaycard AND Barclaycard deny all responsibility

N.B. when ringing around to find an alternative Policy, I discover the same Irish Company are also trading as:-

    “Lloyds TSB Holiday Insurance”

This Irish company have since found it prudent to change their name

from "Financial Insurance Co" to " Genworth Financial" ---- same people running it -- from the same PO Box No!!!!
    BE VERY AWARE
