Hi can someone advise me please? I checked my Callcredit report and I noticed that Alliance and Leicester put a default on my file today, there was no record of the current account at all until today, so it is very weird. I did write to them recently about unfair charges via the financial hardship route so unless that jogged their memory and they decided to report it to the to CRA. I think it is very unfair that after 3 years they have placed this default, I phoned their customer service and the lady said it will stay for 6 years. It shows as a default within the last 36 months on my file - the information is as follows:- Thanks
