I'm also thinking of going with Alliance and Leicester ISA for tax year 2008/2009. Before I do, I would like confirmation that I won't be penalised for transferring to another provider from Alliance and Leicester in tax year 2009/2010. I know some companies have penalties for this or do not allow tranfers out. Could someone please clarify this for me if possible before I apply.
