    you can open a normal bank account with a few signatories on it but be warned - by doign this you create a finacial link on your credit report.

    if one of you have good credit and the other doesnt, this will have an effect on the one with the good credit report.

    my advice would be go and speak to the bank or building society about this and it is not straight forward and you dont want to mess up anyones credit rating.
