I bought a 3 mobile broadband a couple of days ago from Carphone Warehouse, Hammersmith. When I bought it, the Carphone Warehouse sales guy said that if I have any problems, to bring it back within 3 days. I needed it to use at Trade Show at Kensington Olympia to show online presentations. It connected ok, but seem to diconnect intermittently which was bad enough. The biggest issue was that because it's download speed was sooooo slow, I could not play the presentation which was flash heavy.
Anyway, I took it back to the shop within the 3 days. And the sales guys didn't want to take it back because the manager was not there. They did point out, that 3 would be reluctant to take it back because it was not faulty. Is this true. Surely it is not fit for purpose, so I can get a full refund of the £70 ? I am going back there today and would appreciate any advice on the matter. Does anyone have a similar experience ? Has anyone got any ideas what to do ?
