    Hi --- If the car is currently taxed or has just expired, you need to take the following documents to your local DVLA licensing office.

    V70 exchange of licence form, that changes the taxation class from disabled, to PLG class.( I think they have blank forms ?)

    Current or expired tax disc.

    V5C Vehicle registration document (log book) Or the transfer of ownership slip that you would have been temporarily given.

    Valid insurance certificate, or cover note (not a photocopy)

    Valid MOT certificate.

    And your fee £ ?

    taxing a ex mobility

    just taken out finance with a well known car finance company.The problem being is it is a ex mobility car.Traveling isnt a problem to the nearest dvla but what i want to know is what will i need to take with me when going.I litualy got the car today so it aint regestard in my name yet.Also i was insured to drive it under my old car insurence but aint directly insured on this veihicle.It will take 2-3 day for the cover note to come to me from monday morning as the aint open over weekend so i cant take insurence.I do have all the paper work from car finance company tho , Please help i want to drive my new car but im to paranoid to incase i get stopped by police.
