    Re: Banking.

    Hi,

Yes you can move/transfer ISAs, however charges will depend on the individual bank/building society you are with, therefore you are best to check the Terms and Conditions before transferring. With an investment amount of £3k, National Savings & Investments offer a mini cash ISA at 5.30% AER.

On the 29th July last, I inadveretently deposited £1000 to my Isa whihc was already at the limit. It took till the 15th of Aungust beforethat money was returned to my account. Is this fair? And, since the customer services of the bank/building soc concerned is practically impossible to access, can I move my ISA elewhere NOW without incurring penalties. Oh and whihc one pays the most?
