Re: Keep getting cut-off Speedtouch connection

    loveistanbul:

    Hi all,

I have Broadband Starter Package at £14.99 a month with a Speedtouch Connection, I keep getting cut off after sometimes only an hour online, Ihave to re-connect always and sometimes if I am lucky get enough time to write an e-mail then it cuts again, this has been happening the last week regularly, I have contacted Technical support several times done all the usual tests, changed filters on phone re-installed the connection and still have the problem, what I cannot understand is that it is actually connecting but then it is cutting off, could this be a problem with the line or the provider Orange, I really cannot stand to phone them again at 50p minute just to get fobbed off yet again, any advice please I am very grateful.

Do you know anyone who has a spare modem? If you can find someone who has a spare Ethernet modem then you can see whether the issue is your line, the modem or your PC.

    Good luck :)
