I have responded to this question in our ask the expert section, although you dont say which country you are based in, for travel insurance try PHA who will provide cover for British ex-pats?

As a british ex-pat ie non UK resident, I have found that many travel insurers will not sell travel insurance to non-UK residents. I have found a couple who do, but I would like to see if there are more, and get some competitive quotes.
It would be useful if moneysupermarket, could help by allowing residence as a criteria, when make price comoparisons.
