I'm sorry you're still waiting to hear from us about your FIT application.

The specialist team referred to will be our FIT guys. I know they're really busy at the moment and are working their way through a considerable backlog.

We've already implemented changes to help reduce this backlog. This includes moving from a manual to an automated system for certain processes. As with all such changes, it takes time before the effects are felt. I've asked the Section Head today for an update and will certainly let you and others know about any relevant improvements/changes.

In the meantime, if you would like to let me know your details, I'll be happy to see what's going on with your application. Just drop an email with your details to the address in my biography.

Hi,

I got solar panels installed late february at my parents place. A few days before the new price plan was about to take affect.

The guys who installed the panels helped with the application and sent it off, next day delivery.

But it's now early April and I still haven't heard anything from Eon. I sent them an e-mail mid March and got a reply back saying the matter was going to be passed onto a 'specialist team'.

Another 2 weeks later and I still haven't heard anything. I sent another e-mail but haven't received anything other than the fact that my e-mail has been sent and will be dealt with in 5 working days, 15 if it's regarding moving house.

I'm just wondering if this is normal?

What can I expect when/if I do eventually get approved?
