As huckster says, if you let us have details of when you moved in and the meter readings if poss, we'll open a new account for you based on this info.
All usage before this time is then the responsibility of the former tenant or landlord/letting agency.
If no one tells us there's been a change of tenancy/responsibility, we'll continue billing and chasing any debt as we'll be unaware of the new circumstances.
