Although I don't have a link for it, BBC news were reporting this morning that the FSA are urging people not to use these companies to claim back PPI but it should be done by the individual themselves. It seems that these claim back companies are making a right royal packet of money at the expense of the claimants

I am sure I have heard that suggested several times on some forum somewhere........

It's between you and whoever sold you the PPI, so you should contact them.

Only if you feel that you are getting no where should you consider

Hopefully someone can help! I put a claim through moneysupermarket.com for my mis-sold PPI. But I havent heard back from the company I spoke to....

It was something like 'home help', 'help 2 home'..... That sort of thing! It was back in October so I thought someone would have let me know what was going on. But i would like to chase them up on this now.

Anyone that can help or give me a telephone number to call that would be fab!
