You would need to speak to a specialist broker. e.g stuartcollins.com. There may be other brokers you can check with e.g. Towergate. But it won't be a standard arrangement, so you need to speak to a broker.

UK Car Insurance for UK National (non resident)

I am a UK national with a current UK driving licence who is moving to live overseas. I have a car that is registered in my name in the UK, and want to keep it and allow my brother in law to be the main driver. I would like to be able to be a named driver on the policy when I occasionally return to the UK.

Can I buy insurance still in my own name as the owner of the vehicle even though I won't be living in the UK? It seems to be a problem for all online Insurers I have tried!
