Try going back to basics by placing a few cards/adverts ("Property Required" etc) in the local newsagents windows etc. People look, they know other locals, people talk, and the grapevine starts working.... hence you could hear about something even before that person has got round to advertising their property elsewhere. This is only going to take a few minutes and a couple of quid for a few weeks advertising, so why not.

You could try your local residential landlords association as they may know of some suitable properties being let by their members? Best of luck.

Other than the usual property websites I would suggest property 118. If you google the name you will find the site but I cannot list it on this forum.

I am currently looking for a bigger house in Sale, Cheshire but cannot afford a mortgage on the size house we need.

We have a young son & both me & my partner work from home - my partner does it in his spare time as he also has a full time job too.
We are very reliable & have been living in out current rental property for nearly 4 years with no problems at all.

Even though I work from home, my work is associated with a Manchester Football team & I have to live within a catchment area of 1 mile from a certain post code.

I need a house with an absolute minimum of 4 beds.

Can anyone advise where I would possibly find an investor or a website where private landlords advertise their properties?
