    Re: debt relief order

However, you will always have to declare that you've had one on insurance renewals and if you ever wanted to get a mortgage. If you're young then think very hard about going down this route - try and come up with a plan to pay the creditors off even if it is only small amounts. Start by making sure you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to and then set about finding a job which should give you some extra money to pay to the creditors.

Quick reply is - If you find that you are entitled to enter into a DRO then you will no longer have to pay any creditor anything, these debts will be written off and you will be discharged in a year.

    debt relief order

just a quick question, i have approx 5,500 - 6,000 worth of debt and i am looking at a DRO. I do not work, and only recieve child benefit, however my boyfriend does work. I am forever getting hastle off creditors to pay more money than i can afford. I have asked them if i can pay 10 p/m for some creditors this is ok and i am in a 10 p/m agreement with 2 my creditors but others they are asking for more.

Will this go against me on applying for one?

    Answers would be appreciated :)
