In a nut shell, Marks and Spencer are a shop that rent their name out for financial gain. Reputations are a by gone thing.

The M&S insurance is arranged via M&S Money which is wholly owned by HSBC ( Check their website for confirmation).

HSBC, using the licenced name of M&S simply recruit other brokers such as BGL, BISL and they eventually find you an insurer,

No doubt one of their favoured ones.

So how many companies have had 'a bite' from your premium before you even get cover ????

Find an insurance company you can approach direct, you will find the premium and service much better.

Don't trust the comparison websites ( Especially those promoted by furry animals ) these are in fact owned by the insurance brokers

who will search only their favoured ( profitable ) 'friends'.

I speak from experience and cost, M&S should stick to selling knickers, lying down with dogs will hopefully give them fleas !!!!

I am looking for feed back from customers that have taken out M&S Home Insurance and have made a claim and have had a bad experiance with AXA Insurance Emergency Home Cover.
