    The loan may well be secured on the property, but you will still have to show affordability, that is to say a taxed income that will more than support the loan.

    Therein will be the problem in my view.

    According to me you need UK address to get secured loans in UK. As you said you have a uk property and want to get loans up to £30,000 for 10 years then it can help you to get secured loans.

    For the UK address route you will also need a UK bank account showing lender specific qualifying income being paid into it. If this is rental income you will normally need to show SA302's to show the income is taxable.

    You will need a UK address to get a mainstream UK loan or mortgage. If this isn't the case, a more expensive option would be to enquire with some of the offshore banks on the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

    Secured Loan on a UK property

    Is it possible to get a secured loan on a UK property? I am a non UK national with property in the UK with no mortages on it. looking for 30,000 for 10 years.
