    Re: Tom Tom update query

My Tom Tom was FREE with Coop car insurance - so I am not going to pay for an update

As far as I am aware - Tom Tom offer free updates "for life" on several new units - so why not my old unit too ?

Can't help you Twee...............but I have exactly the same problem with my wife's one year old Garmin Navigator...they want £50 for a one off upgrade and £80 for" lifetime" upgrades...we only paid ~£60 for the damn thing new!!!

    Tom Tom update query

I am trying to update my, 5 year old, Tom Tom one, 3rd edition with new UK maps but not at the frankly laughable price that Tom Tom are asking....
Why would I want to spend £60 on 4 updates over the next 12 months ?
I am looking for a SINGLE (one off) update - any suggestions ?
