I've got VM broadband. No problems in last 3 years. Fibre optics to so much better than BT/Sky and whatever they claim their internet is.

As a virgin media customer, I can only wish you luck,

It took a while but eventualy they managed to sort out the few problems that I had. i.e. underground cable left 3 feet in the air, in coils, the team forgot to bury it.

Cutting off my broad band service because it was making a noise in their box? (still not very sure of that one).

Having to re-route the cable around the house, because my socket was in the wrong place.

Ground to hard to dig into, so concrete over the bright green cable protection, and hope no one notices. ,

The old saying of the grass is not always greener on the other side springs to mind,

But as I say they have sorted me out, it just seemed to take for ever....

    Good Luck....

Given SKY a months notice at last

My broadband speed has been awful for several months and getting worse, calls to SKY have resulted in them blaming my 4 year old PC for my slow running problems

Last week I went out and upgraded my PC Tower unit to 4GB RAM and 1 TB of storage. The broadband speed is marginally better but still awful so I have bitten the bullet sacked them off and ordered Virgin Media.

It has to be better than SKY. I can't believe I've put up with SKY's shoddy service for so long. Never again.
