    Remember to check exactly what the insurance company considers a 'resident' to be. From what I've read so far it seems like you need to have lived in the UK for 6 months before starting your trip to be considered a resident of the UK....Residency and nationality are two different things :)

    I am currently on a 3 year work visa working and living in new zealand, but am going to be travelling to the usa and uk next month and am trying to figure out if I buy a uk travel insurance as am technically still a uk resident and not a new zealand resident. I am a bit lost so would love some advice please! thanks
