i also was set in my ways with a make of mobile phone. however after a few of my friends and family members had the Iphone i cant say i was massivley swayed towards buying it as there seem to be a lot of faults that i know that i would not be able to fix myself. i therefore went for the S2 and luckily so far have not experienced any problems. was i wrong to get the s2 instead of the Iphone?

I always like to get the Nokia brands because of their long lasting durability. But I change up my mind this year and go to get the Apple I phone4 due to its ever increasing popularity and demand in the market. It was the nice experience having with i phone with features like dual core, 8mp camera and 1080 hd video. And also very immense list of feature on this besides these popular features. I would also like to upgrade into the version of i phone 5 which come forth with more praise for to Apple Family.

i don't care what it is called ,but the most important of all is that what it has , as the user ,if i can find what 's the function i want and enjoy applying it ,i think that is enough ! no more complaints ,but just a choice !

    Re: Apple iPhone 4S

    Hey Graeme,

I don't understand why everyone is complaining?

I mean I have never been an apple fan and ALWAYS a nokia fan until my last purchase of a nokia n97 which I have sat in great anticipation as my upgrade time has arrived about 5 months ago and after seeing my mates iphone 4 I decided to convert.

Ok lets get to the nitty gritty, why is it that people make such a fuss over same look/feel?

Is it not whats under the hood that counts?Ok like I said I don't currently own an iphone and really like the design of the iphone 4.So what is all the fuss about then?

Is it because it isA)not called an Iphone 5 as expected and as a result the '5' symbol should bring new meaning?

Or B)It looks like the Iphone 4?

I mean lets get real here, new processor (Ipad2) which is dual which means it is twice as fast.

New camera, they added another lens to reduce light to make the technology better.

Dual antenna - which means faster downloads as reception will be outstanding.

IOS5 which is latest phone os.

Siri - this little fella is going to apparently from what I have seen be human like whereby you talk to the phone and just ask it for eg:where is chinese restuarant.

I mean who needs a woman now you have an IPHONE4s!

Ok ok i retract that comment as my fiance is reading over my shoulder hehe.

But I mean come on what is there not to like?

Is it maybe I have not yet been an iphone owner and am just too dam excited about this new invention?

However you see this RIP Steve, you have definitely converted me to an apple product I always said I would never go over to.

    Apple iPhone 4S

    Where's the iPhone 5?!

Will anyone be buying/upgrading the new handset announced yesterday? Same look and feel as the iPhone 4 - but with 200 new features. It's available from the 14th October.

Personally, I was thoroughly underwhelmed by yesterday's announcement - and as some of you probably know by now - I'm an Apple fan.

The good news is: antennae fixed, it's faster, they've upgraded the operating system, the camera is now 8 megapixels, better integration with 'the cloud'. The most interesting thing is 'Siri' - a voice recognition system/assistant so you can ask the phone to set a reminder, for example, and it will add it to the calendar. Early days, but sounds quite nifty (but it does apparently have an issue with some accents!).

So what are your thoughts? Anything really to write home about?
