You can send a message to your local trading standards office and name the store here if you wish. Obviously you should shop elsewhere in future.

I recently tried to purchase a tablet pc from a high street store but was unable to and informed it was out of stock. I enquired as to the status of deliveries etc etc and was informed that more stock was due in but they could not tell me when.

Since waiting for more stock to arrive this store has decided to cease stocking the item. I requested a rain check but got no response.

Should I pursue the fact that the item wasbeing advertised for sale but no stock was actually available ? I thought that this was illegal ?
