house set on fire by arson am i covered

My house was set on fire deliberately. We dont know who done it but are assuming it is due to an incident that happened where my daughter tried to break into a house that grew canabis the police caught her and her friend and the house. The owners were not happy. We can only assume it was them as they had come a couple days before to our house. We left the house then a few days later heard it was on fire and it had be started deliberately.

I do not know if this will affect my claim for the fire damage with my insurance Halifax. Please help with these questions.

When I report to the insurance will they say we provoked the arson due to the daughter getting caught at the house and not pay out. (bear in mind we dont know who it was) The house fire will have a different crime number to the previous incident.

Do i have to let them know about the previous incident if they ask if i know who done it.

My daughter has unspent convictions but stays with her aunt a lot.I did not tell insurance about her convictions because she is hardly at my house. will they assume from the incident she lives with me or is it ok to say she does not.She is not on the voters list.

I have reported the claim but not done anything yet incase they try to void my insurance due to the unspent comvictions.

At the moment i am unable to occupy the house and the police have asked us not to stay there and have boarded the windows and doors. We can visit there to check on the property and get things.

Please help as I am very worried.I am homeless had to leave my home with all my belongings cant live in it or rent it. Will proberly never be able to sell it now too. Thanks to those kids
