House moving costs

    I don't know of any online calculator but do now from our last experience of moving that it depends on who you call. we had 3 quotes from 3 removals firms and they were £450 difference in the prices for the same job.

    £125-£250k stamp duty is charged at 1% and £250-£500k is 3%.

    We are considering relocating at our own expense to another part of the country - hopefully, somewhere with better prospects of employment

    Last time I moved house - it was at the expense of my former employer (12 years ago !!)

    So - is there an on-line calculator that I can use to estimate full moving costs ?

    I have found separate calculators for loans but no complete ones (with removals, stamp duty, etc etc)

    We do not require any mortgage by the way !!
