    Re: Northern Electric cover plan

Are you still paying premiums?Surely you get an updated renewal letter every year if so??

If it was a one off payment on purchase surely it will have run out by now - 9 years???

    Re: Northern Electric cover plan

The company was split into supply and distribution arms under the utilities act 2000. In 2001, the supply business was disposed in an asset swap with npower, exchanging the North East consumer business for the distribution arm of Yorkshire electricity..

If still in force give npower a try.

    Northern Electric cover plan

    Hi,
I took out a cover plan when I purchased a washing machine in 2002, I have called the number on the cover plan as i have done previously but no joy. I need to report a fault but can't seem to find out who has taken over the policy when northern electric ceased trading, I have had a repair actioned after they ceased trading.
