Suggest using a broker so they can make enquiries for you. I doubt you can arrange anything online or even obtain quotes.

    Find broker using BIBA. http://www.biba.org.uk/Personal/Motor-insurance/ConsumerHome.aspx?category=Motor&type=2

Ah bugger, so it's pretty normal to be not able to get insurance after receiving a totting up ban?

Shouldn't all my offences be pushed into the TT99?

Offence code TT99 must stay on a driving licence for four years from date of conviction.

    Taken from:

I wouldn't be so sure of getting more quotes too quickly.

Non disclosure of the full facts is likely to leave you with far more serious problems than you have right now.

CodeOffenceTT99To signify a disqualification under 'totting-up' procedure. If the total of penalty points reaches 12 or more within three years, the driver is liable to be disqualified

Insurance After 6 Month 'Totting Up' Ban

I am trying to get a quote for insurance for when my ban ends in 2 weeks.

I called the DVLA and they said I now have the following offences on my licence:

Code - Offence Date - Conviction Date - Outcome
    TT99 - 23/3/10 - 25/8/10
    MS90 - 23/3/10 - 25/8/10 - Fine £400
    IN10 - 5/5/10 - 25/8/10 - 6 Points

The thing is, I did get caught speeding too, which isn't on there.

Anyway, I went to Compare The Market and I wasn't given the option to enter the TT99. I got quotes at fairly reasonable prices without the TT99 code.

At GoCompare I was given the option to enter the TT99 and I only got 2 quotes given to me, a lot of them said they won't insure me with the TT99.

I am assuming the TT99 is removed when I get my licence back, and I do no disclose it to the insurers when I have my licence back?
