Re: Pre Paid Credit Card Question

    gics:

do pre-paid cards allow you to load money in Euro or do you have to load it in Sterling and then convert it with them?

A pre-paid € card allows you to load in € and spend in a € zone country usually without a fee. A pre-paid sterling card would load in sterling but be converted on use with (possibly) a fee added.

Up to you what you use. Investigate Caxton fx to get an idea of what is possible.

    Pre Paid Credit Card Question

Hi, I've been trying to work out the best way to use money abroad. I will be goign away for 6/8 weeks so I don't want to have cash or travellers cheques on me when travelling and will need easy access to my money so was looking at pre-paid cards. My issue is that some of my travelling money is already in Euros and some of it is in Sterling, do pre-paid cards allow you to load money in Euro or do you have to load it in Sterling and then convert it with them? Any ideas on the best option for me would be welcome.

    Thanks
