    Moving Home- Rubbish customer service

    I have been with talktalk for 2 1/2 years - no problems.

    I recently moved house and because the new house is a new build, a new line had to put in.I rang up and after beeing passed from pillar to post i spoke to a nice chap who arranged the new line.He said that as i was already a TalkTalk customer they would discount the New Line fee to £49.99.

    I was then told much to my dismay that i would be unable to take my number of 22 years with me,even though i was within the same exchange and only moving up the road!

    I then asked the adviser to confirm that when the new line at the new house had been connected that my old house line would become dissconnected.I was told that this would not be the case and i would have to ring to cancel the old line. What a bloody palaver.

    When we moved to the new address,i obviously wanted to carry on logging in to 'my account'.

    So I rang again to ask that they dissassociate my email address from my old account so that i can set it up on my new number.I was told that the system was down and to ring back but they could help.

    On ringing back the next day,i was told that i would have to set it up with a new email address.I DON'T WANT A NEW EMAIL ADDRESS JUST FOR 'MY ACCOUNT'.

    After ages on the phone yet again,I just gave up.

    To top the lot, i have today received my first bill and have been charged £69.99( instead of the £49.99 quoted to me) for the new line.

    So i get on the phone yet again. At least 25 minutes later and after having spoken to 3 different people ,I am basically told i couldn't possibly have been told i would be charged less and was made to feel like i was lying.

    Who the hell is running this company-a bunch of morons from what i can gather.
