Virgin Media kept my broadband account open (but closed my telephone account) at my previous address when I moved house last year, taking my VM services with me. They have been taking payment for the old broadband account by direct debit each month and when I queried this last month they told me they would send me a refund by cheque and close the account at the old address to stop the direct debits going out. No cheque has arrived and the direct debit is still going out. How do I insist that they refund my money directly to my bank account - I must be legally entitled to request the refund by bank refund, not by cheque? Thanks
