There is a process for this. My understanding is that Vauxhall are allowed a few attempts to fix the car, but after a certain number of problems, you can reject the car and obtain a full refund.

But you are best to contact Consumer Direct to find out the actual process.

Purchase of New Car.....Many Problems....Rejection of car?

I have recently bought a brand new car. Since the purchase I have had a lot of problems with the car which has meant I have had to take the car to the garage to get fixed, which means taking days off work. Vauxhall has told me that as long as they fix the problem that is all they need to do under the manufactures warranty. However I would like compensation or to reject my car. I now have a problem with my cruise control, it doesn’t work properly, Vauxhall are aware of the problem and are trying to find a solution to the problem however at the present don’t have a fix. This means my car is not working as it should. Do you think I can reject my car on this basis?
