I think it’s worth pointing out that - contrary to popular myth - there is no team of moderators watching your every move or waiting on every post that is made on this forum. We have no need (or desire!) to check, analyse and approve each member nor every single post they make.

All we ask when posting links is: use your common sense. If it adds value or context to the conversation then it will be fine. We’re more than happy to leave that decision entirely up to you. We do ask - politely - that you don't link to sites we see as competitors or rival forums - simply because it takes the question and/or conversation elsewhere. If we're only here to post links to other communities, there's really no point in any of us being here.

Similarly, if you see something that you feel goes against the spirit of the forum, please let us know by clicking the ‘Report Abuse' button. Someone will be along as soon as they can to deal with it.

Sometimes, we’ll see a post or a link that we want to take a closer look at – such as people posting links to generate clicks on their website or to generate 'leads' or money. If you see this, let us know and we’ll deal with them. Someone who joins our community just to post links to x site or is trying to drum up business are pretty easy to spot. But we’re relying on you - our members - to tell us what you like and what you don’t like. Without you and your contributions, this forum and community will simply not exist.
