    Hi fnarrr,

Thats the standard correspondence address - you need to look further down the document for the complaints address. We are restricted to what we can post on external forums such as this so we find it easier to advise on where you can find the information you require.

    Cheers

For those trying to find the address via the code of practice link (very faint grey font) it's

    TalkTalk Correspondence Department
    PO Box 360
    Southampton
    SO30 2LY

Why TT support can't just give the address I don't know.

    Hi Fnarrr,

If you take a look at the code of practice on the TalkTalk website you'll see the address etc for complaints. The link is bottom left on the main TT page. If you write to this address it will be refered to the CEOs office and they will be able to assist with your query.

    Cheers

Re: TT Ex-Directory never ending story

As I mentioned in my first post but maybe not clearly enough (my old TT number and personal info is still in the BT Phone Book and online directories) it's the number I had when with TalkTalk that is still in the Phone Book. When I left TT they kept the number.

Although we now have a new (ex-directory) number our personal details are online and in hard copy albeit associated with a phone number which is no longer ours.

We cannot get either BT or online directories to remove the number because it is no longer ours. It was TalkTalk that published our details against our wishes in the first place so I would like them to sort it out.

    Hi,

If you are not a TalkTalk customer we have no control over your directory listing. You would need to contact your phone provider.

Re: TT Ex-Directory never ending story

Hi Em, can't post on the TT forum as left TT more than 3 years ago. Didn't wan't details in phone book while I was with TT and was promised our details would be removed for the next BT phone book in 2008. Still there and online despite emailing your good self 3 times after similar online pleas.

"Thanks for re-sending this mail. I will forward this to the relevant department to ensure the directory listing is removed as soon as possible. Kind regards Emma"

    Hi fnarrr,

If you are experiencing problems with a directory listing we can only provide assistance on the TalkTalk forums as account details are needed to investigate this. Please post at www.talktalkmembers.com/forums for us to look into this further.

    Cheers

    TT Ex-Directory never ending story

Despite several e-mails to TT support via this and another forum my old TT number and personal info is still in the BT Phone Book and online directories. Didn't even want to be in the directory when I was a TT customer and although Emma has responded each time I've queried this still nothing has been done, years after the event.

Any chance this could be sorted before yet another hard copy directory comes out? Please?
