If you still own a house here, L & G and Lutine may go for it.

If not, try Colonial Life, Royal London 360,

FriendsProv would be on my list too.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Liverpudlian,

I've had a quick word with Emma on our life assurance team and she recommends speaking to Friends Provident International - they're used to dealing with life assurance for non-UK residents.

If you'd like to give our team a call about the wider issues around life assurance, you can contact them on 0845 209 8731.

I hope that helps. Do let us all know how you get on!

    Life assurance for non-UK residents

I am a UK passport holder permanently resident in Spain. I wish to take out term life assurance and whole life assurance with a UK insurance company but cannot find one who will write such policies for non-UK residents. Premiums would be paid by direct debit from a UK bank account.

    Any suggestions?

    Liverpudlian
