Yea i signed for specific car all signed and what i thought was sorted, i feel really let down as its got everything i was looking for in the car and Ive been put aside for someone who they dont even know has got the funds for this car. But cant judge until he tells them that.

I hope i can use this to my advantage but i feel i should just be getting this car as its the one i have signed to have :(

If you are saying you signed a contract for a specific car, paid a deposit and agreed to proceed with the purchase subject to inspection, the audi garage have broken that contract. So the contract should be cancelled and the £500 refunded. The garage if they want to maintain your business, should be looking to find you an alternative. Once they find one, you would need to start the process again.

Very frustrating, but I think perhaps you could use this to your advantage when negotiating the price of the new car when they find one.

I recently visited audi dealership where I signed for a new car and put down a £500 deposit, the salesman said he will get the car for me to see and drive on the monday. i then receive a phonecall on the monday to say that there was some bad news and it seems as though a salesman from another dealership has somebody wanting this car, who is taking delivery on friday and is "finding his own funds" but there are quabbles about if this is going to go ahead. So im stuck in limbo about this car which is frustrating and dont know what my rights are regarding this matter.
