Having just completed a major building works, we now have a fantastic mortgage deal that we don't want to touch, a regular chunky monthly income coming into 2 separate current accounts, but quite a bit of "soft" money outstanding on credit cards. Ideally, I would like to consolidate our two current accounts and have them offset against the amount currently bouncing around on balance transfers (we're about all out of introductory transfer options!). So - is there are a current account that is not over-burdened with monthly fees, which we can use to offset against a personal loan - probably a low 5-figure sum - to clear the credit cards?
