    Given the number of hotels in Florida I'm sure they could find you a comparable hotel in the same area and if they can then I suspect they might refuse return of the deposit on the grounds that you're being unreasonable particularly as (to the impartial observer) there is nothing special or distinctive about Ramada Inns. You might even end up in much better accommodation for no extra cost (you should definitely refuse to pay extra whatever they offer you).

    Yes it does - however, if it is they who are cancelling the hotel that you booked and they have accepted that booking, under those conditions they should refund all the deposit, especially as the holiday is so far away.

    Thomas Cook - Cancelling Holiday Help

    Hi,

    We were due to goto Ramada inn in florida in June next year however i have received a letter stating that they can no longer fulfill that hotel and we wil have to stay somewhere else the problem is i dont want to stay anywhere else i want to stay at that hotel.

    Is it possible i can cancel this holiday and get a refund of the £700 i have paid so far as this is the only hotel im willing to stay at.

    Hope somebody can help
