Hi
Two questions!
I have current debts which I am paying via Churchwood Finance: I am wondering if I should now look at paying these direct with the companies myself as Churchwood appear to be behind in my payments - is this a good idea or should I speak to Churchwood about being behind? (it came to light when I requested an Experian credit report and they seem to be permanently behind on one of the debts by 2 months). Should I tackle each one alone direct with the relevant companies or stay with Churchwood?
The other question I have is that I have really old debts (up to and over 10 years old) which I am paying minimal amounts off to debt collection agencies - however these debts are not on my credit report at all? Should I pay them or not? I've read about this statute debt time etc.. but am unsure as to whether I am liable as I am paying them now (albeit £5 or £10 per month).
Any advice welcome as I am confused as to which way to go on this. Either way I am trying to clear up my credit report but dont want to make it worse!
Thanks
Nicky
