Further to my previous post, BE have applied the new price to my account. All is happy in the Skywalker London residence.

Further to my last post - I was told that my request would be acknowledged with an email to confirm the new pricing arrangement.

I am still waiting, so I will let you know how reliable BE actually are over what their call centre people have promised me. Has any other BE Value customer tried to get the same deal with any success?

I have been a customer with BE for over 12 months. Today I looked at their website and noticed that they are doing a half price offer for BE Value, which is 8 meg unlimited download.

This usually costs £13.50 a month. However, for new customers they will offer you a 12 month contract at £6.75 a month.

So I rang them, threatened to disconnect my service unless they gave me the half price deal, so they gave it to me. I have been with them for more than 12 months.

If you are a customer, I suggest you do the same thing.

£6.75 for an 8 meg broadband connection has to be a deal!
