    Re: Recommended home accounts software?

I've been using Quicken for years but am thinking of moving to moneydance which is downloadable from the web. Its had good reviews and I think you can try it for free for 30 days. If you want something pretty simple (ie. not tracking investment portfolios or alot of accounts) then an excel spreadsheet may well be enough.

    Hi Cheesysocks

I used Quicken, but 2 yrs ago bought (for £20 then) YNAB pro which gives excellent & easy multi-account management and overviews of income/expenses, but does not generate printed reports.

It features an easily set up & adjusted monthly budget which monitors earnings & categorised expenses really well &
has never crashed or lost anything of mine. It is US but works in any currency.

    Good luck, Jacket

    Recommended home accounts software?

    Hi all.

I want to start studying my money more closely, and I want to use an accounts package. However, Quicken and MS Money have dropped support for the UK. There are other packages out there, but which ones are really any good? Are there any reccomendtons from users? Warnings from those who have been stung by the wrong package?

    Thanks.

    Mike.
