Well before I bought it I did look at the battery availability and price of the more powerful one. There are plenty about if you do the normal searches. Once decided I wanted a Netbook I started reading up on them from any "review" source I could find including c.net, PC Pro and many others. I know enough to know the reputable review sources. I never saw a bad word on the Atom but there was the odd "could be more powerful" comment. Having said that I find it in the U10 to be nearly as fast as my T7500/2.2 CPU(?) Tecra A9. If you haven't already done it and you are thinking of buying one there are a huge amount of reviews at Argos - only thing to remember is that they attribute reviews to the specific colours. As a matter of interest they sent c.net and presumably others review U10s and the c.net one was in white and they said they liked it. It's like the Aspire One looked best in blue.

I am slightly concerned about the Atom processor (and the availability of a replacement battery) - the rest appears OK though ....

Certainly not!!! White is white all over but pink isn't otherwise I would have been sorely tempted. Note to self why am I justifying myself to someone called Twee!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Using at the moment... Brilliant. Just brilliant!

That looks to be an absolute bargain (for the technology involved) - but I thought that you would prefer a PINK model ?

Just reserved two of these for pick up. I'm not a great expert on net/laptops but over the years I have learnt a bit PLUS learnt to read the right reviews and digest them and then go to manufacturers' website to double check specification given by sellers. So got in my mind that MSI Wind good over recent years just done up to date checking. This £199 model has the 3 cell battery and no bluetooth but looks to be great value and I really like Argos - go into the store and buy - as they are very reasonable about returns. Just in case anyone doesn't know you can check stock, reserve, get a text with ref number and in this case they are holding them to close of business Wednesday - no liability to pick up, just expires. I think a link's ok so
