    New joint account

    Hi there,

I'm getting married next year & my husband to be & I have decided to get a joint current account. One that both our wages will go into and one where all the bills will come out of.

Neither of us use our over drafts, even though we have them, and all the accounts I've looked at use over drafts as a selling tool and as we don't use them we're looking for something else. Has anyone got any suggestions?

We're also very big on saving. =]

    Thanks,
    Emma

Chose the bank and the account you want and that you can comply with any funding requirements. You can always reduce any overdraft limit offered though personally I would keep a small buffer area as the first line of defence against inadvertant charges.

Alternatively if you are very confident you can keep the account funded what about a basic bank account just for the bills.
