All lenders have different views to this (especially since Le Crunch !!)

Generally you can get their agreement to extend Offers although they are within their rights to revisit the case and complete new searches etc. Approach the Lender and ask....9 times out of 10 it is accepted.

I just have a query on mortgages when buying a house (not first time buyer).

If the property you are wishing to move in to will be vacant 2 weeks after a mortgage offer expires, is it possible to extend the offer. I can understand that different banks may have different ways of working but I just wondered what the general stance was on extending mortgage offers.
