    Please help, welcome finance!

I got a car loan from welcome 2 years ago, can i stop paying them as they broke the law within the contract its with my solicitor at the moment (they are a 100% the contract welcome had me sign is illegal - they added interest on a few things that they cannot do by law), but this is taking so long.

Welcome keep being really nasty over the phone calling 3 times a week to confirm payment date.
Sending letters say don’t forget your payment is due for the 30th and its very important that the money is in the bank.

Can someone please advise what to do, pay or don’t pay?

Sorry about the grammar im just real angry about all this

If you solicitor has advised you that the contract with Welcome is illegal, DO NOTHING. Do not even speak to them.

Let your solicitor write to Welcome to draw to their attention to the flaws in the contract.

Speak to your solicitor about whether you should stop payments. My opinion is that you should continue to pay while this matter is being sorted out by your solicitor. If you stop payments, you will receive even more harassment, with visits by doorstep collectors. And Welcome could take action to reposess the car and sell it. You could then owe them a lagre some of money and have defaults placed on your credit record.
