Good points. The UKIP/BNP/Green 'protest' votes may well take us down the 'hung' road. We live in interesting times.

    Skywalker:The Prime Minister (soon leaving)

I would not bet on Brown leaving just yet. I have a feeling he has a few political tricks left to be played, before he calls an election.

Due to the first past the post system we have, the Conservatives have to achieve a record swing to even get a small majority. The chances are with votes switching to UKIP and other smaller parties, that the Conservatives will not win enough seats.

My prediction for what it is worth, is for a hung parliament, with Brown clinging on by his finger nails, leading a minority administration.

Also if you read various articles, Camerons judgement is starting to be questioned. The Conservatives do not like him imposing all women short lists to select candidates.

    Brown speaks sense *shocker*

The Prime Minister (soon leaving) has made the following announcement:

Mr Brown said that "sharp practices" like increasing interest rates on existing debts without explanation, issuing unsolicited credit card cheques and relaxing credit limits without being asked should end.

Too little, too late - the horse has already bolted.
