Hi I am new to the forum so I hope I have put this post in the correct place, if not I appologise.

I am in severe debt and am looking for ways to earn extra money, I am in full time employment so am looking for either work I can do at home i.e computer based or envelope stuffing but something that i would not have to put down any money initially, or evening and weekend work.

Does anyone have any suggestions, I really am desperate.

You sound like you're really struggling. Can I recommend you read National Debtline's moneysupermarket.com article 'Could you increase your income?’ as well as 'How to prioritise your debts'.

To be honest, not knowing what work you do by day, it's hard to consider what you might be able to do by night. When I was in my first job post-uni, I worked in a bar a couple of evenings and at the weekend to pad out my income.

However, if you're really struggling with "severe debt" you should seek some advice and help. Citizens Advice or National Debtline are both good places to start. If your debt has become unaffordable then the sooner you act, the better.
