    It depends on whether your son is dependent on your income to pay the mortgage. If anything happened to you would he struggle to pay the mortgage and potentially lose the house?

    My son has discussed a transfer of equity for his ex with the building sociey.A new application is being processed in mine and my sons names to enable him to keep the house.. Do I need life insurance to cover the total mortgage ?
