    Yes, the insurance premium will likely increase due to the driver having 3 penalty points.

    Insurance companies need informing about all relevant facts about the proposer or any named driver(s), so any policy that relates to the penalised driver.....the said insurer does need to be informed and fully aware of the true facts.

    Hi,

    Can you tell me if car insurance will increase if driver has 3 penalty points ?

    Also does insurance company have to be notified if driver is a named driver on another policy?
