Over recent years I've kept an eye on "over 50s" and my experience from savings, insurance and banking is there hasn't been much there and from memory Saga savings accounts were slightly less attractive than BM equivalent with both having BoS as the deposit taker. Only one I remember taking up was Coventry BS first easy access fixed saver.
